Research Description
Our research interests lie in the development of new and efficient methods to synthesize organic molecules and new materials via transition metal catalysis. This is often directed towards compounds of biological importance or potential new drug cores. We are also exploring the application of metal catalysis to the synthesis of new classes of polymers. In developing these reactions, we rely upon mechanistic insights into transition metal based transformations, and their extension to new and practical synthetic methods.
